The Certificate in Design, Entrepreneurship & Management (CDEM) program unfurls in five strategic stages to create the next generation of artisan leaders.

Stage 01

Selection Process

Selection of 15 students through intensive field-visits and collaboration with partner organisations of WomenWeave across India.

Stage 02

On-Campus Segment

A 5.5 months’ extensive classroom segment at The Handloom School’s Maheshwar campus, focusing on technical skills and design.

Stage 03

Corporate Internship

2 weeks of immersive internship with reputed organizations in the handloom textile business to understand market standards.

Stage 04

Off-Campus Mentoring

1 year's hand-holding and collection development in the home cluster under the guidance of expert THS faculty.

Stage 05

Reunion & Graduation

A final 1-week session at Maheshwar for knowledge sharing, peer review, and the official graduation ceremony.
